With a degree in Outdoor Education from Colorado Mountain College, Alex's love for nature and horticulture began early—starting at just 12 years old, he spent his summers working at a neighbor's Christmas tree farm.

Throughout his career at Earth-Wise, Alex has gained extensive experience by working in every department, making him a well-rounded expert in the field. His dedication to sustainable practices and commitment to quality have positioned him as a key player in promoting environmentally friendly solutions in horticulture.

Throughout his career, he has worked on some of the most demanding and highly trained crews in the wildfire community—Hotshot, Helitack, Handcrew, Wildland Fire Module, and engine assignments.

These roles have given him an in-depth understanding of fire behavior, fuels reduction, defensible space creation, and the operational realities of wildfire response. His goal as a mitigation specialist is to bridge that experience with practical, customized solutions that help clients reduce risk, improve preparedness, and build resilience in wildfire-prone environments.

As your first point of contact, Jessi expertly manages our service calendar, coordinates our field crews, and ensures that every project is scheduled and executed on time.
