Meet Our Team – Passionate Tree Care Professionals
Since 1994, Earth-Wise Horticultural, located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, has been helping customers maintain beautiful landscapes. General Manager Ed Berkheimer's roots in the industry are deep, having grown up on a tree nursery. He has 25 years of professional tree care experience and has held a commercial pesticide applicator's license since 1994. Cory McGrath, our Sales Arborist, holds a degree in horticulture from Colorado State University, is an ISA Certified Arborist, a licensed commercial pesticide applicator and has been with the Earth-Wise family since 2005. Our Trim Department Manager, Alex Vosicky, began working for Earth-Wise in 2009. He is an ISA Certified Arborist and has a QS Pesticide Applicator's License from the Colorado Department of Agriculture. Both Cory and Alex have also earned ISA's Tree Risk Assessment Qualification.
We believe in giving back to the community in which we are privileged to live, work and play. To that end, Earth-Wise is the proud sponsor of Ride for the Pass (supports the Independence Pass Foundation's efforts to restore the natural beauty of the Pass and improve its recreational resources), The Good Seed Garden, Basalt Community Garden and Glenwood Community Garden, as well as the Mt. Sopris Nordic Council.
